Many people often ask me why I decided to enter the field of Enterainment Design in the first place. It's a very valid question since my background in the arts has always been traditionally based. Some find it odd that I would go from classic paintings in frames and on walls to making creatures, characters, and products that aren't the norm in standard artistic communitites. 

 

The answer is that I like using so many different mediums and doing so many different things that I wanted to study a field that would require me to utilize a variety of my skills. I also wanted my traditional art skills to be useful when creating projects. Being able to study Entertainment Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh allows me to do just that. 

 

Entertainment Design has also required me to expand my abilities and try things that I didn't have the opportunity to prior to my studies. As I've always been interested in learning new methods to better my projects, I'm happy to do it. 

 

I've already been fortunate enough to be a part of a number of great experiences that have helped me to progress in my feild.  They have required me to work in many different settings and with many different people. I look forward to having many more experiences in the future.
